A dental and oral surgery clinic in Ljubljana is one of the first projects that has recently been equipped with Spectra-based luminaires. Featuring SunLike LEDs (co-developed by Seoul Semiconductor and Toshiba Materials), the clinic benefits of natural spectrum of sunlight, accurately representing the colour and texture of objects and materials used (e.g. tooth colour matching). Moreover, matching perfectly with human biorhythm, Spectra-based luminaires contribute to a comfortable feel in the clinic.
The dental clinic requested a luminaire suitable for homogeneous general lighting in suspended ceilings with grids. Besides that, they were opting for a solution that provides good vision for dentist and a comfortable feel for the patient.
ARUN Spectra with dimmable and tunable white function seemed to be the best solution. Besides providing energy-efficiency and low glare, thanks to integrated Sunlike LEDs, it preserves eye health and increases work performance of the dentist, ensuring also the best comfort in the entire treatment room. ARUN Spectra delivers a natural spectrum of light, helping dentists to reveal details and textures that are otherwise critical and not easily visible under traditional fluorescent lighting.
