We are delighted of the great achievement we received by the international community of lighting designers who voted EOS LED Circular as one of the 10 best lighting products of 2016/17. Being the first ever peer-to-peer system for a lighting design awards competition, where only independent lighting designers and lighting artists could vote, Darc Awards are the ultimate confirmation of our work. The awards were announced yesterday evening at Darc Night in London.
The luminaire has lately become even more captivating, being available in larger sizes of up to 2000mm in circumference. Due to the transparent panel within a 24mm slim powder-coated aluminium ring, the luminaire appeares light and elegant even when having installed several luminaires of larger sizes in the room. The look apparently changes when the lights are turned ON, losing its transparency and transforming the panels with homogeneously distributed light. The luminaire becomes an object in itself. This magical transition of light allows the architect, interior or lighting designer to play with the appearance and functionality of the ambience, using the luminaires whether to provide comfortable lighting conditions in a working station or as objects of attraction.
EOS Circular emits almost the same proportion of light both up to the ceiling and down to the space, diminishing glares and delivering high visual comfort.
