Our ILO System is a key part of the lighting solution at the new Foodeast | Haumako innovation hub in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand.
The architects chose the ILO 50 for its clean, minimalist profile and strong performance in open-plan spaces. Finished in a sleek black powder coat, the luminaires are suspended in geometric shapes — straight runs, crosses, and squares — that bring visual order and rhythm to the interior. These suspended shapes don’t just provide light; they help define pathways, zones, and working areas with subtle architectural clarity.
Functionality was key to the design. The ILO 50 is DALI-controlled and fitted with prismatic diffusers that distribute light evenly while significantly reducing glare. This combination ensures comfortable, high-quality illumination — essential in a space designed for both focused work and fluid collaboration.
